Dior gives a behind-the-scenes look at how the Dior Caro bag is made

DESIGNED in Dior’s ateliers in Italy, the Dior Caro bag combines the impeccable craftsmanship of the House with the beauty of exceptional materials.

After the pieces are hand-cut from calf leather, the Caro bag is meticulously quilted, a process that requires 18,000 stitches to reproduce the accessory’s iconic geometric weave.

The Maison’s signature gold seal is then affixed to the bag followed by various metal accessories adorned with delicate CD motifs.

Available in two sizes, the Caro bag comes in classic shades such as black, grey, beige and ivory, as well as statement hues of mint-green, sky-blue and rose. The small version is also available in three exclusive variations – shearling, denim or a style punctuated with the Dior 2021 Cruise show tie.
