INFLUENCED by both the favourite colour of the founder of the French Fashion House and the facetted fragrance of the leading perfume from La Collection Privée, Gris Dior brings together five international visual sound and digital artists in Los Angeles.
The Grey Zone is an immersive showcase, welcome to the public from 13 – 16 April 2023, in which Dior Gallery invites some of the worlds most cutting-edge creators to curate engaging works based on the iconic Gris Dior. The fragrance trail of such a lucrative perfume is a beacon for the world of Dior and holds a captivating essence in the perfume industry.
A breakdown of the works created includes: Canadian Ben Johnston who designed a street art style photocall wall titled Gris, American-British Biophilic technology designer, Mileece, who designed an installation named Avant Jardin – The Essence of Fragrance Is Nature, the Parisian Collectif Scale brought a blend of visual arts and music to an olfactive box called Flux, which also diffuses the chypre fragrance notes of Gris Dior, Andrés Reisinger, an Argentinian digital artist and designer, birthed the Gris Dior Digital Gallery, and finally Thomas Trum from the Netherlands installs a wall of customised white bottles amongst a live performance titled Colourchanging Looping Line (Gris).
This pop-up is not one to miss as Dior invite visitors to dive into the total audacity of the House’s spirit and to continue in artistic friendships.
