IT SEEMS gorpcore is a trend that still has its muddied fingernails deep in the world of fashion design, and now Dior are the latest house to explore the open expanse of wilderness and hike trails following their latest sneaker release.
Named the B31, the shoe takes the Maison’s referential cannage pattern and distorts it for a more modern revival, the wrapped rubber detailing pushing the design into the world of hiking and leisure, distancing it from the more decorative sneakers usually frequented by Kim Jones.

Though the shoe certainly hints to the world of outdoor exploring, it seems to be as functional as the appearance promises, with reinforced rubber pads that ensure a strong grip, competed with the CD diamond signature.
The latest addition to the Dior sneaker roster is available in bold colour ways or tone on tone styles for a more subtle look when out in the wild, all punctuated with the Dior logo.
