To celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year, Fendi will release a special capsule collection inspired by Fendi’s classic Bag Bugs. The range features new pieces forged from precious materials in various shades of red—the colour that embodies the Lunar New Year.
Among the collection is a mini red ostrich Peekaboo bag with fuchsia leather handles and a long strap. Another version in red leather with a pink interior, silver python eyes, and black Swarovski detail also joins the selection, available in both regular and mini sizes.
Two new Bag Bugs will also be introduced. Furry Cracker and Fur Yang come in their unique combination of pink, red, and silver fox fur, lapin and mink, complete with Swarovski eyes. The capsule collection also includes two red and pink fox fur pompons, a silk twill accessory for bags, and a silk and soft wool shawl with an original Bag Bugs print.
Fendi’s capsule collection will be available in boutiques worldwide starting February 2015, and will also be exclusively sold in the New Bond Street Flagship store in the UK.
