Fendi’s fashion film Play Me starring Jamie Campbell Bower

SINCE becoming an ambassador for Fendi’s men’s eyewear collection in June, actor and singer Jamie Campbell Bower is back for the brand’s AW18/19 ad campaign. Following the first Fendi men’s eyewear collection episode entitled Discovering Me – which focused on exploring his world – this new chapter Play Me delves into the rock star side of his life.

The film shows Bower in his hotel room before one of his concerts for his band Counterfeit in Rome – while wearing part of the new eyewear collection. He receives a package unexpectedly, a box with the phrase Play Me written on it and an old video recorder in it. Having clicked play, he sees that someone has been filming him in the streets of Rome. The anticipation continues for the second episode in the series to find out who’s been stalking him.

The film encapsulates the essence of a Fendi man, with both a comical yet dramatic twist seen through the lenses of the Fendi AW18/19 collection.
