Fiorucci unveils its California-inspired nostalgic SS23 collection

FIORUCCI‘s spring-summer 2023 collection is a nostalgic nod to the brand’s rich heritage, dating back to 1967. This season, expect a kaleidoscope of bold graphics and prints that pay homage to the brand’s storied past. Think squiggle logos, signature monograms, and playful zebra prints emblazoned across slip dresses, shirts, and relaxed jersey styles.

The iconic Fiorucci Angels get a futuristic update, too, with liquid chrome graphics dripping across washed-out sweats and silky shirts, perfect for a stylish Californian desert escapade this summer.

This retro-meets-modern collection was brought to life in the Hollywood Hills by Paris Mumpower, who masterfully captured the spirit of Fiorucci through her signature Big Shot photography style. The ensembles, styled by Tabitha Sanchez, effortlessly evoke the glitz and glamour of the City of Angels.

This season’s inspiration came from a trove of photos discovered in the Fiorucci archive, which captured an unforgettable event at the Beverly Hills store in the 70s – the launch of Blondie’s Parallel Lines album.

Daniel Fletcher, who is the creative force behind the collection, reminisced, “LA is such an important part of Fiorucci’s history. I love hearing stories of the store which occupied the Beverly Theatre, with music pumping and Andy Warhol and Joan Jett hanging out. It sounds like a wild time, so I always love bringing the brand back here and celebrating where we are today with the new generation of creatives who are now part of the Fiorucci family.”

The Fiorucci SS23 collection invites you to step into a world of vintage charm, reimagined for the modern era.
