PREACHING self-love and acceptance, K-Pop super band BTS has captured the hearts of millions across the globe.
The South Korean boy band includes members RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook. Their name, BTS, is an acronym of Bangtan Sonyeondan or “Beyond the Scene” and first debuted in June 2013. Since then they have become famous for their authentic, self-produced music and high-energy performances as well as the personal way they interact with their fans.

Topping charts and selling out worldwide tours isn’t all they do – BTS aims to positively influence its fans (named ARMY) through activities such as the Love Myself campaign with UNICEF and the UN Speak Yourself speech. In the speech RM (also known as Kim Nam Jum), the leader of BTS, speaks about the importance of listening to your own voice and not letting it be drowned out by the voices of others. He also talks about the initial response to BTS’s music, saying that a lot of people thought they were hopeless. However, after much perseverance the band got to where they are today, even receiving recognition at the Billboard Music Awards and American Music Awards. RM encourages those listening to love themselves, no matter who they are or where they are from.

In the much-anticipated film of their journey, Bring The Soul: The Movie, which follows the band through their last leg of the Love Yourself tour in Europe, fans are shown opening up to the band and revealing their remarkable stories of how BTS has helped them develop self-love. Glimpses into intimate moments before BTS perform live on stage are included too.
