Giorgio Armani and Horizon Foundation take to the Atlantic to raise awareness for Retinitis Pigmentosa

GIORGIO Armani, the iconic Italian fashion brand, has collaborated with the Horizon Foundation to support its first project. The Horizon Foundation, a non-profit organization, was established by model Benjamin in 2022 to raise awareness about Retinitis Pigmentosa and to fund research for this genetic degenerative vision disease, which currently has no cure.

Benjamin, along with four of his friends, comprised of accomplished photographers, directors, and cinematographers, will embark on a once-in-a-lifetime sailing adventure across the Atlantic Ocean.

The journey will be documented and shared on Giorgio Armani’s social media channels in a series of chapters, with the aim of spreading awareness about Retinitis Pigmentosa and raising funds for the Horizon Foundation.

The sailing trip serves as a symbol of hope and represents the power of friendship and adventure. Benjamin has also modelled for Giorgio Armani and has been a testimonial for the brand’s Vela and eyewear collection.

It is fair to say, that his project is a shining example of commitment and personal expression. Giorgio Armani’s support of the Horizon Foundation’s first project showcases the brand’s dedication to making a difference and giving back to the community. This alliance is a testament to the power of teamwork and the impact that can be made when people come together for a noble cause.
