Givenchy focuses on elegant masculinity in their spring 2024 men’s collection

REDEFINING what it means to be elegantly masculine, the spring 2024 men’s collection for Givenchy by Matthew Williams does exactly that through reshaping urban masculinity by combining the brand’s classic allure with a modern twist.

Amongst Givenchy’s most recognisable designs is a crisp white blazer and evening jacket adorned with thistle-inspired brooches. The incorporation of an overcoat into bonded suiting cloth is a thoughtful way to unite the best of traditional tailoring with the practicality of outdoor apparel.

The collection’s khaki boiler suit and workwear jackets showcase an exciting departure from conventional suits. These are paired with Bondage trousers with removable zippered and strapped parts, creating a perfect ensemble of versatile sophistication.

In addition, complementing the dialogue between Parisian heritage and Californian cool, the release presents varsity-style garments reimagined in luxurious shearling contrasting with conventional cotton, leather, and nylon. Seasonal newcomers, sustainable puffer jackets crafted from eco-nylon and waterless dyes underline the brand’s commitment to environmental consciousness.

In regards to the accessories, the men’s Voyou bags are newly added to the collection. The Essential U Backpack series sees new life with oversized leather options and compact sling versions in either nylon or leather.

Footwear pays homage to Givenchy’s restored elegance with seasonal leather work boots and chunky-soled leather derbies. The Givenchy logo also receives a modern update on the G-Zip and Pandora accessories, sporting an exciting twist on the House’s iconic symbol.

The collection explores a neutral colour palette with hues of beige, off-white, charcoal, and various shades of black, punctuated with vibrant reds and pinks.

The Spring 2024 pre-Collection by Givenchy is a perfect blend of modern and classical elegance and will be accessible both online and in physical stores come early November.
