My island-hopping experience begins in vibrant Mykonos, part of the stunning Cyclades island chain southeast of mainland Greece. Perched in the picturesque Agios Stefanos with views of Chora is where you will find Domes Noruz Mykonos, a gated neighbourhood of volcanic sugar-cube architecture, blended effortlessly into the Aegean vista. From a lively island to, as the locals would describe as a romantic island, our journey takes me to Santorini, with its mega high cliffs and volcanic rocks forming a striking landscape, making it hard not to fill your phone with scenic photos.
We make our way north of the island, to Tholos, Oia, through serene landscapes and untouched beauty to arrive at the newly built haven, Domes Novos Santorini. Architecturally striking, the hotel boasts 50 suites and two villas, each with its own private pool and terrace. From my suite, only local vineyards stand between me and the Aegean Sea, and it’s a view that I won’t be forgetting any time soon.
