AS A part of the brand’s Waste Project, Joseph are launching a limited-edition capsule collection made from textile waste. With an estimated 92 million tonnes of waste produced annually across the globe, the commitment from Joseph to take products destined for landfills and reimagine them is what this initiative is founded on.
The collection is comprised of six pieces made from excess yarn and knitted by artisans in Macedonia by hand using traditional techniques – each one unique and limited to one.

Joseph Waste Project
Inspired by the Joseph archives, specifically the Joseph Tricot which was released in 1991, the instarsia knit pieces have been reworked and updated lifting some of the design features like the patchwork hearts and shades.
Commenting on this capsule collection, co-creative directors Anna Lundbäck Dyhr and Frederik Dyhr reflected, “Over time we have seen how factories throw away boxes of remaining yarn from old productions. We felt we had an opportunity and an obligation to utilise what was already available to us”
