KEEN debuts edition IV of the Targhee hiking boots

DRAWING upon 20 years of experience, KEEN provides innovative, sustainable footwear solutions for those particularly interested in hiking. From hybrid sandals to pragmatic slip-ons, the shoemaking brand has it all. Now, the brand has just announced a new edition of the Targhee hiking boots.

Considered a fan-favourite, the Targhee is well-loved for its effortless longevity and sleek appearance.

As a testament to the Targhee IV’s strength, it was discovered that after rigorous testing, the shoes didn’t break down after 1000 hours of use or after KEEN’s “pull machine” attempted to force the shoe apart.

“I’m thrilled to see our revolutionary Targhee IV come to life. The Targhee IV leverages the latest in KEEN FUSION and LUFTCELL technology, creating footwear that is no longer limited by weak bonds and short-term fixes. This radical boot is a testament to KEEN’s long-standing commitment to reducing the impact that our shoes have on people and the planet,” explains Scott Labbe, SVP, Global Product and Innovation.

Featuring shock-absorbing cushioning, environmentally preferred leather, abrasion-resistant outsole, reinforced lacing, PFAS-free water repellency and pesticide-free odour control, the Targhee IVs are perfect for mountain-exploring and other exciting ventures.

The Targhee IV is available in mid (£150) and low (£140) cuts in men’s and women’s specific editions.  Targhee IV will be available at select retailers across the UK from spring 2024.
