KREPT and Konan, UK rap duo from South London, started their careers in 2009 with a mix-tape, essentially a mini-album, and now will double launch their fourth and fifth mix-tapes 7 Days and 7 Nights later this month. Releasing a double mix-tape on the same day is a UK first.
This release showcases the duo’s more street-orientated material with 7 Nights including smoother R&B tracks. You can definitely hear the stylistic difference between the two mix-tapes and the influence of the different collaborators on each mix-tape – 7 Days sees a collaboration with Stormzy and Skepta with grime showing out strongly on these tracks.
