Longchamp Brings the Côte d’Azur’s Shores to Chelsea

THE SPRING/ Summer season is in full swing, with the sun-dappled days ahead signalling the return of immaculately chilled refreshments, verdant blooms and seasonal jaunts to the coast.

Yet, for those shackled to city living while the temperatures soar, French leather goods Maison Longchamp has devised the perfect solution: Le Plage Longchamp. In other words, for a fortnight only, it’s bringing the splendour of Southern France right into the beating heart of West London, Chelsea’s Sloane Square.

A haven decked in fairylights, flags or festival cheer like clockwork each season, Sloane Square is the place to be. And to fête their arrival at the fashionable destination this summer, Longchamp has myriad treats in store. From 10am to 7pm each day, guests will be greeted with sips of chilled bespoke beverages (Kalamansi Lemonade, Vanilla Coconut Matcha, Blue Gaze Smoothie) or scoops of velvety ice cream, all custom-made to evoke the spirit of summer.

Bridging beach-time revelry with sleek city style, Longchamp will also unveil an exclusive on-site edit of its SS26 collection at the venue, which the public can examine, admire and shop on-site.

Aside from tempting edible and sartorial treats, visitors can alternatively soak in the sun beside exclusive Longchamp surfboards, capture the occasion in a Polaroid photo booth or test their hand-eye coordination with Mölkky, a typical throwing game.

Distributed across the two weeks, there will also be complementary creative workshops such as seashell painting and sunset watercolour sessions, all artist-led and available to book via Eventbrite. Adding to the ambience each weekend, live DJ sets will be projected from a on-theme campervan playing high-vibrational summer hits to raise spirits even further.
