Louis Vuitton announces release of new capsule collection LV² in collaboration with Nigo

LUXURY brand Louis Vuitton has announced a release of a new capsule collection for Men’s Pre-Fall 2020 – Louis Vuitton squared (LV²). For this capsule collection, creative director Virgil Abloh has partnered up with Japanese designer and founder of Human Made and BAPE street-wear brands Nigo in order to create the new stand alone line.

The new men’s capsule collection includes ready-to-wear, as well as leather goods, shoes, and accessories. During this one-off collaboration, the two street-wear moguls Abloh and Nigo have come together to bring their individual approaches to design and re-interpret Louis Vuitton graphics and signature style, including the House’s LV monogram.

In addition to Louis Vuitton Squared capsule collection, the French luxury brand has also announced a release of Men’s Pre-Fall 2020 collection, which follows the narrative of boyhood, established by Abloh ever since his appointment as creative director in 2018. This time it Abloh explores the theme of tradition and convention in men’s clothing during early adulthood, which is echoed in collection’s contemporary re-imagination of a traditional corporate dress.
