Louis Vuitton explores functional sensibility with new SS24 collection

LOUIS VUITTON’s spring-summer 2024 formal menswear collection epitomises the contemporary ideal of the Maison. The collection hosts an array of business staples featuring perfectly tailored suits, coats and shirts, coming together to create a line of structural formal wear that balances harmoniously alongside quintessential accessories.

Throughout the collection, the iconic Louis Vuitton check has been reimagined and redefined into LVTangles, a modernised version of its traditional counterpart.

Alongside these very structural pieces, one can find relaxed options for when casual wear is more of a priority with crewnecks and cardigans providing classical comfort, all while retaining an air of sophistication. Through changing the fabric, colours and cuts, the brand has further elevated its best-selling products.

Coupled with the crewnecks, many evening wear essentials appear such as a double-breasted jacket featuring the LV crosses motif, shirts with the Monogram Eclipse style and lace-up shoes such as the Voltaire derby.

The collection pairs these statement pieces with soft, gentle accents such as cashmere scarves and bonnets which creates a beautiful juxtaposition between textures. In addition to this, bags such as the LV Aerogram and Eclipse flat bags coordinate seamlessly with other articles to underline the smart, chic look of the collection.

The Maison has also decided to continue its collaboration with the Domaine des Massifs, and has chosen to showcase a new statement bag, the Georges Tote, which now forms part of the Cuir Millesime line.

The tote is made from luxury, high-end leather and has a polished S-Lock closing system to guarantee safety and security. With an accolade of functional, refined classics, the collection embodies elegant craftsmanship at its finest.
