Louis Vuitton takes to the seas with its nautical capsule

CONTINUING its exploration into travel-orientated apparel, Louis Vuitton’s nautical capsule collection provides endless spring-summer wardrobe inspiration. Available now, the capsule spans women’s ready-to-wear, leather goods, accessories and fashion jewellery.

Ushering in the spring season with light-weight, elegant silhouettes, the capsule subverts feminine sportswear essentials. T-shirt dresses, plush knits, double-breasted blazers and crisp shirts exhibit a turn towards both city and coastal dressing. Adorned with stripes and appearing in traditional white and navy, the looks epitomise seaside chic.

Similarly, accessories have been reimagined for the collection. Red leather becomes a major accent, appearing as the Coussin BB or the Noé BB bucket style. Meanwhile, the GO-14 bag – one of Louis Vuitton’s latest additions – is available in red or navy.

The pochette version of the Twist West has also been embellished with a nautical-style chain strap for added practicality and style. Yet, the seaside inspiration does not stop there. A miniature lighthouse-shaped bag introduces further playfulness and fun to the latest capsule collection.

Perfect for those breezy seaside strolls, silk scarves are a focal point of the latest offering. The LV Cordage design combines the Louis Vuitton Monogram with a seaside-influenced print, while the Sailor Bandana elevates any daytime ensemble. Once paired with delicate pointed Monogram flower earrings or other delicate jewellery pieces, one’s outfit is certain to make a splash.

Elevating relaxed, marine-themed apparel to unparalleled heights, the latest capsule is perfect for those escaping to the coasts for the summer.
