Louis Vuitton’s GO-14 bag makes a highly anticipated return this autumn

ONE OF Nicolas Ghesquière’s first designs for Louis Vuitton, the GO-14 bag is a unique landmark of leather design that combined the designer’s personal flare with the history of trunk-making.

Named after the year, month and creator – Ghesquière October 2014 – the accessory makes a bold return in 2023.

Exploring its design, the malletage pays homage to trunks with its refined crisscrossing pattern reflecting the inside of the large compartments. Its galon trim is simple and yet beautifully functional, holding together the documents that people would travel with, and finding itself again in fashion but this time on a bag.

The versatile bag now finds itself once again in the spotlight, but this time with an update. Arriving this autumn in padded lambskin, the bouncy and soft exterior is given a more rounded shape through the overstitching that highlights its curves.

Coming in a range of shades, from black to diluted white, even in wintery hues of brown, the GO-14 is soon to be written on top of everyone’s must-have bag for this season.
