MCM announces partnership with Women’s Tennis Association

GERMAN luxury lifestyle goods brand MCM Worldwide has announced its newly established partnership with Women’s Tennis Association (WTA). To celebrate the launch of the partnership, MCM has released a series of lifestyle films, which feature top female tennis stars Wang Qiang, Victoria Azarenka, Belinda Bencic, Eugenie Bouchard, Katie Boulter and Donna Vekić.

The news of the partnership comes right amid the first Grand Slam tournament of 2020 in Melbourne, Australia. Working together with Women’s Tennis Association also is a part of MCM’s ongoing focus on sports as a core brand pillar, established in October 2019 with the appointment of Dirk Schoenberger as the brand’s new global creative officer.

Celebrating the MCM’s deep-rooted connection to travel, the videos feature tours of Osaka, Los Angeles, Beijing, London, Miami, and Munich. Each video shows six tennis stars exploring their city, while also showcasing their personal style, complemented by their favourite MCM styles.
