BALMAIN selected photographer duo Mert and Marcus to photograph the brand’s Spring 2022 collection backstage at its fashion week presentation. The presentation took place at the Jean Nouvel-designed La Seine Musicale concert hall, which was the perfect background for Mert and Marcus’ campaign images.
The photographs created by Mert and Marcus offered a playful look into the behind the scenes of a fashion week presentation. The photographer duo is known for their candid and snapshot-like aesthetic. Models such as Naomi Campbell, Carla Bruni, Lara Stone, Mariacarla Boscono, Adult and Jordan Barrett star in the campaign.
