Monique Lhuillier explores the English countryside for AW24

SINCE being established in 1996, Monique Lhuillier has become renowned for her effortlessly chic collections. Now, the American designer has just unveiled her autumn-winter 2024 collection and accompanying campaign.

Founded alongside her husband, Tom Bugbee, Monique Lhuillier has garnered an impressive selection of supporters. With notorious public figures such as Emma Stone, Blake Lively, Jennifer Lopez, Diane Kruger, Taylor Swift, Reese Witherspoon and many more wearing elegant designs, it’s no surprise that the brand has become a household name.

Today, the new collection further highlights the brand’s timeless allure. With the campaign set against the backdrop of a 17th-century estate in the English countryside, the clothes encapsulate the creative director’s elegant, romantic design approach.

The collection effortlessly intertwines dynamism with sophistication, from sky-blue hydrangeas to pearls and polka dots.

Additionally, the seasonal offering marries sculptural knitwear with delicate detailing and juxtaposing textures. In particular, the collection is filled with an accolade of bold prints. Florals contrast with polka dots, whereas bows and embroidery add further glamour and charm.

Meanwhile, luxe jersey, velvet and pleated chiffon are all draped asymmetrically to add further fluidity and versatility to the collection. Similarly, the collection also emphasises regality and opulence. Capes make an appearance alongside lace gloves and sheer tulle to add further grandeur.

For the campaign, Monique Lhuillier has chosen rising British talents to showcase the new pieces. Jazzy de Lisser, Malaika Firth and Elfie Reigate are all seen posing in the latest image series, perpetuating Monique Lhuillier’s design sensibility this winter.
