Mulberry teams up with Rejina Pyo on accessory capsule

INTRODUCING Mulberry x Rejina Pyo, a limited-edition capsule collection that sees the merging of Mulberry’s quintessentially British design DNA with Seoul-born, London-based designer, Rejina Pyo.

Offering bags, accessories, ready-to-wear and jewellery, as with beloved brand Mulberry, items have been designed to last—even getting better with time—with quality, and a modern take of legacy at the heart of the line.

Marking the latest chapter in the Mulberry Editions, which sees the heritage brand partner with contemporary designers, this collaborative line with Pyo feature designs that nod to both the past and the present, with a thoroughly autumnal colour palette that’s fit for the season.

Expect reworked versions of the archival Blenheim style, with its roomy exterior pockets stripped back, and the knotted closure borrowed from Pyo’s collections. This sits alongside a subtle Top Handle Crossbody that pays homage to the Clovelly bag family.

In line with Mulberry’s approach to responsible sourcing across its collections, all the leather is carbon neutral, and this is achieved through offsetting with the World Land Trust – and strictly sourced from environmentally accredited tanneries.

Touching upon this, Pyo says: “When I collaborate with someone, it’s important for me to consider what they value, what they bring to the world, and how they treat people. The timeless design and Made to Last ethos really resonated with me. Mulberry creates pieces you want to cherish and treasure for a long time, it’s that essence that I always aim to imbue in my own brand.”

As well as leather goods, Pyo has designed a tight ready-to-wear edit featuring an oversized cotton camel coat, a belted suit in a heritage check crafted from responsibly sourced wool, and a draped knit top in a leafy green alpaca blend to exude that easy elegance look.

The campaign, which is a celebration of womanhood, was shot by Gwen Trannoy and stars Conie Vallese—a longtime friend of the designer, since walking the first Rejina Pyo show, a further nod to female unity.
