AMID the 100th anniversary of the Negroni cocktail, Campari is launching a series of celebrations across the UK to honour the classic Italian cocktail.
The iconic cocktail, the Negroni
The delicious carmine drink has a distinct and favoured bitter-sweet taste, typically enhanced with an orange peel. Served on the rocks, it makes a perfect summer evening aperitif.
Negroni originated in Italy and is typically made with gin,
vermouth and Campari in equal parts
The celebrations will feature the time- honoured recipe along with contemporary creations. Over 100 new variations created by leading mixologists and UK’s most notable bars are brought together for the Negroni Week by N100: Cheers to the Count.
