Black, white and greys were the colours chosen by Andreas Melbostad to inspire the next winter season. The Diesel Black Gold Runaway was turned into a futuristic stage, with a cool minimal yet girly, dance vibe.
Leather jackets and shiny parka jackets of grand proportions seamed to almost overwhelm the body, metallic pants with sheer blouses turned what were once cool women into nocturnal party-girls and the short form-fitting dresses and pleated skirts studded with small mirrors referenced disco balls as well as an outer-space theme. The prevailing looks in this sharp collection were completed by quilted details in classic coats, embellishment belts and zippers and pointy ankle boots. Straight lines defined the DBG woman’s body with that rock n’roll vibe Diesel is well-known for.
