Omega begins the countdown to the Olympic Games Paris 2024

AS THE official timekeeper of the Olympic Games since 1932, the Swiss watchmaker Omega begins the one-year countdown to Paris 2024.

At Port de la Bourdonnais, the new Countdown Clock is unveiled just below the infamous Eiffel Tower, ready to track the hours, minutes, and seconds until the Opening Ceremony on July 26, 2024.

Raynald Aeschlimann, President and CEO of Omega, welcomed Thomas Bach, President of the International Olympic Committee, and Tony Estanguet, President of Paris 2024, to celebrate this exciting occasion. Together, they set the clock in motion.

Design codes for the Countdown Clock take inspiration from the Paris 2024 emblem with a flame form in the centre, guarded by a golden circle.
