Park Hyatt New York announces summer opening

Park Hyatt New York is scheduled to open in summer 2014 and will become the flagship hotel of the globally recognised Park Hyatt brand.

Perfectly located in Midtown at 153 West 57th Street between Sixth Avenue (Avenue of the Americas) and Seventh Avenue, just across from Carnegie Hall. The hotel is also within easy walking distance to Central Park.

Designed by Pritzker prize-winning architect Christian de Portzamparc and with Yabu Pushelburg at the helm of interior design, the hotel’s 210 luxury guestrooms will be modern with a slight nod to the past, capturing the energy and vibrancy of the city. At 475 square feet, the standard rooms at Park Hyatt New York will be among the largest in New York City and the majority of deluxe rooms will span 530 square feet.

The hotel will also include spacious meeting rooms and an executive boardroom with an exclusive outdoor terrace.

Pool

Leisure facilities will be located at the top of the hotel in a magnificent three-storey aerie, and will include a spa with six all-inclusive treatment rooms with private outdoor balconies and a state-of-the-art fitness centre. In addition, an indoor swimming pool with underwater speakers will play exclusive soundtracks from Carnegie Hall.
