Isabel Marant collections never disappoint and always seem to have an all-together coherence with the previous ones. At Paris Fashion Week, for Autumn-Winter 2014, the effortless-chic parisienne brand presented some of the immediately recognizable Marant items like the mini-skirts and flair dresses with wool cardigans and simple sweaters, with some Greek inspiration on the print, the playful sequins and floras styled together with fur waistcoats and coats.
But this collection also showed an edge to it, playing with some futuristic and harder details. The leather pants lost some of their femininity and rock style paired with strapped ankle booties, shoulders on coats were edgy, with straight lines, tartan patterns were worn together with high-waist baggy pants in space-shiny-like materials and some long oversized coats walked the runaway.
