AS committed athletes gear up for the London Marathon this Sunday, Nike and renowned British makeup artist Isamaya Ffrench have teamed up for a limited-edition running capsule, titled Run Forever.
Dedicated to the city’s athleticism and the remarkable agility and determination of the people within it, Ffrench has unveiled a revised edition of Nike’s Vomero premium cushioned running shoe. Coloured in her signature metallic grey, it employs metal to symbolically allude to “the grit, density and momentum of London itself”.

“That layered, compressed, constantly moving energy is what I wanted to capture in the collection,” she says of the meaning behind its monochromatic appearance. It also taps into her own relationship with fitness, probing the tension between female sport and beauty.
Complementing the shoe is a sculpting recovery tool — a design-led massage accessory developed with reflexologist Maria Pecoff — to support post-run recovery. The partnership also offers a promising apparel offering, with Nike Swift shorts, sports bras and slim waist packs all designed in Ffrench’s inimitable style.
