Saint Laurent Rive Droite opens in Paris and Los Angeles

CONCEPTUALISED as a retail destination, Saint Laurent Rive Droite, a concept store curated by the brand’s creative director Anthony Vaccarello, opens up in two international fashion capitals this June– Paris and Los Angeles.  The Rive Droite name takes its inspiration from Saint Laurent’s Rive Gauche, the line that introduced Yves Saint Laurent’s unique way of combining prêt-à-porter and luxury fashion with the opening of his first boutique in Paris in 1966.

The Saint Laurent Rive Droite name goes back to its Rive Gauche 1966 roots

The store space is built around the idea that shopping at Ysl is a cultural experience, showcased through the events that are planned to take place in the space such as exhibitions, performances and artistic exchanges. The products on sale are also exclusive to the space, offering rare books, vintage record players and toy cars, there is sure to be something of interest to any Ysl fan.

The store offers rare book collections, artwork, and YSL accessories

The interior of the Rive Droite concept space mirrors the brand’s stylish sophistication

The sleek and stylish interiors further encapsulate the luxurious and creative ethos of the Ysl brand, white and black marble walls,  gold-gilded skateboards with Saint Laurent embossed on the bottom, decorative eighties inspired boom boxes and a cascading glass light fixture complete the amusing and chic enviornment of the space. And if you’re hungry after all that shopping, head outside the store where a food truck by restaurant and coffee bar Sant Ambroeus offers Italian-American styled snacks and treats.
