Veuve Clicquot announce the London opening of Solaire Culture

THIS exciting announcement brings 250 years of the iconic Champagne house, Veuve Clicquot to London this May with an exhibition comprised of a thrilling immersive journey.

Arriving at Piccadilly Circus from 12 May – 6 June will be a history-marking display as we help celebrate the sestercentennial with the opening of Solaire Culture. After debuting in Tokyo and Los Angeles in 2022, this year brings the opportunity to champion Madame Clicquot, widely considered one of the world’s first female entrepreneurs to England’s bustling Capital.

Following her revolutionary stance in the renowned bubbly drink, the iconic Yellow Label creation in 1876 was crafted specifically for the British champagne drinker, and today Veuve Clicquot’s fearless and confident savoir-faire is understood through the lens of an impressive, female-only team.

The exhibition is led by French curator Camille Morineau and designer Constance Guisset, with artworks from the iconic Yayoi Kusama and UK-based artists such as Cece Philips and Rosie McGuinness showcasing nine of the most adventurous female artists from across the globe.

You’ll be glad to hear that following the success of its pop-up in Soho last year, The Sunny Side Up Café will be returning in partnership with Andi Oliver, playfully drawing inspiration from Veuve Clicquot’s Yellow Label.
