Your destiny is blue – a beauty story by Kim Brown, art director Liz Sheppard and photographer Chloe Mallett

AS WE cross into a new decade and era – the colour blue (essentially Pantone 19-4052 Classic Blue) reminds us of nature, the sky and ocean. It stabilises our foundation, instilling calm, confidence and connection. We believe we are in control of our destiny but this was decided long ago. Natural driftwood serves to remind us of the cycle of life – as nature recycles and changes form. Delicate fabrics blow in the wind and everything has a painterly ethereal feel. Our world is reflected back into the natural order. Everything is where it should be.
