Dior release the Jardin menswear capsule

HONOURING the late Monsiuer Dior’s passion for gardens and nature, Kim Jones latest capsule collection for Dior Homme is rife in floral prints and bold colours. Taking classical inspiration and fusing it with a distinct modern edge, something Jones has repeatedly championed at the helm as creative director, the latest capsule perfectly precedes the colder Autumn months, all while infusing a subtle, playful element of subversion into the modern landscape of menswear.

Though florals, specifically roses, are the most explicit form of inspiration for the latest capsule, Jones tiptoes along the line of the natural and unnatural with his striking use of colour. Flowers are reimagined in mint greens and bubblegum pinks in a way that perfectly elevates more simplistic designs of t-shirts and jumpers, contrasting the upcoming fall collection which features a much more subdued, neutral colour palette.

Alongside the neatly designed garments, an array of accessories including bandanas, ties and socks are offered to compliment each look. The B30 Sneakers are likewise re-introduced in a series of softer shades, subtly contrasting the highlighter colours of the featured prints and enhancing each outfit further.
