Louis Vuitton announces Barcelona as destination for its Cruise 2025 show

OPTING to showcase its Cruise 2025 fashion show in Barcelona, Louis Vuitton continues to expand its presence in the Catalan capital.

Having organised the Louis Vuitton 37th America’s Cup – including the Louis Vuitton Cup qualifying session – to take place in the city this summer, it’s evident that the Maison has its heart set on the metropolis.

With previous Cruise show venues including John Lautner’s Bob & Dolores Hope Estate in Palm Springs, Oscar Niemeyer’s Contemporary Art Museum in Niterói, the Salk Institute in California and Italy’s island of Isola Bella, Louis Vuitton is renowned for its globetrotting ways.

Speaking on the location, Pietro Beccari, Chairman and CEO of Louis Vuitton, said: “It is an immense pleasure to collaborate with the city of Barcelona sharing common values with Louis Vuitton that are deeply anchored into a remarkable heritage and the passion for creativity. The upcoming Cruise fashion show, encapsulating Women’s Artistic Director Nicolas Ghesquière’s vision for the collection, as well as the upcoming Louis Vuitton Cup and the 37th America’s Cup will undoubtfully capture Louis Vuitton’s long-standing relationship with Barcelona and the Catalan region in the most ultimate way.”

Alongside the show and Louis Vuitton 37th America’s Cup, the Maison is launching its much-anticipated city guide for Barcelona. Accompanied by a cultural pop-up kiosk and event, Barcelona is the place to be this summer for all Louis Vuitton cognoscenti.
