ETRO presents its new collaboration with Castañer, the historic Spanish luxury footwear company with which the brand shares the founding values of craftsmanship, heritage and creativity blending timeless tradition with modern elegance.

The collection of espadrilles reveals three main inspirations that revisit Etro’s imagery through heritage fabrics, meticulous workmanship, and natural weaves with embroidered details. The models in arnica, the Etro’s historical fabric, combine the fabric with Castañer’s typical rope soles, declined in different heights that also include espadrilles with threading on the upper and men’s loafers.

The iconic Paisley is revisited through a version embellished with comely embroidery, both on the flat shapes and on the sling-back and bootie silhouettes, the latter introduced for the collaboration with the Milanese Maison.
The proposal with applied embroidery celebrates the tradition and DNA of Etro with thread embroidery of roses and multicoloured buds on the raffia bases of the wedge sandals and mules edged with fringed profiles.
