Paris, in all its current couture splendour, saw the global launch of the new Emilio Pucci eyewear collection at the city’s Italian Embassy last night. Celebrating over an exclusive dinner and cocktail spread, Emilio Pucci & Marcolin Group welcomed a number of VIP guests that included socialites Poppy Delevingne , Elena Perminova and Eugenie Niarchos as well as models including Natasha Poly and Daria Strokous. Alongside of course a number of bigwigs such as Laudomia Pucci, CEO of Pucci, Giovanni Zoppas, CEO of the highly regarded Marcolin eyewear Group, and even the Italian Ambassador Giandomenico Magliano, the ritziest of them all reached new heights.

Each guest soon got rather shady themselves when they got a chance to be the first to sample a pair of Pucci’s latest addition to their fashion empire. Finally, in what has been dubbed an “unforgettable evening” by those involved, each guest raised a Baccarat glass, or maybe that should be a pair of Pucci sunglasses, to the evolution of an Italian institution.
