Philipp Plein Launches Watch Collection #PLEINTIME

German fashion house Philipp Plein have just launched their much anticipated watch collection, #PLEINTIME. Accompanying the launch is a fashion film created exclusively for the collection, directed by Lars Timmermann, described as bringing to life Philipp’s vision for the #PLEINTIME collection – strong, slick and masculine.

The collection comprises of three different styles, the robust Spitfire, and the more minimalist Destroyers I and II. Available in neon colour ways and camo-prints, the watches are designed for the modern era, international jet set tribe of new-age gentlemen.

The film campaign features models Aminata Sanogo, Giannina Müller and Kristina Tsvetkova ‘producing’ the watches, from sourcing the materials in the wilds of Iceland to watching over the manufacturing of the timepieces – all set to a thumping electro soundtrack.

The launch is significant not only due to Philipp Plein’s plans to focus their entire accessories line for coming seasons around the watches, but because it marks the build up to the brand opening their London flagship store later this year. The store will also serve as their first standalone Philipp Plein shop in the United Kingdom.
