The resort is very accommodating in organising ski passes, transfers to the slopes and hiring equipment, making the experience seamless, which was particularly comforting for a first-time skier. The skiing here is completely breath-taking. It is part of Austria’s largest inter-connected ski area, thanks to the 2016 connection between Lech and St Anton. This ski season will also benefit from a significant investment of 3.5 million euros in ski optimisation, snow-making, safety and the local environment.
A real gem of Severin*s is the four-bedroom Residence, an ideal place for friends or families to stay. Complete with a home cinema, state of the art kitchen, grand piano and outdoor hot tub, guests can enjoy all the benefits of the resort with the intimacy of a private chalet retreat. Après-ski is certainly done the right way at Severin*s, from the heavenly underground swimming pool and wellness spa, to the sumptuous cuisine; it is the perfect place to relax and recharge after a day on the slopes. I devoured the traditional Austrian fare served in the restaurant, including classic dishes like chicken schnitzel, hearty and warming, yet bursting with elegant flavours.

Severin*s has recently announced the latest addition to its team in the form of new Head Chef, Kevin Szalai. At just 25 years old, Kevin already has a wealth of experience and a passion for local, mountain produce. With new Head Chef also comes a stunning new winter menu at Severin*s including daring, yet refined signature dishes like Deer & Moss – venison with beech mushrooms and stone pine – and Pulpo & Scallops, with beetroot, pea and carrot.
