Dioriviera capsule for Fall 2020

DIOR presents its Dioriviera capsule for Fall 2020. Maria Grazia Chiuri’s designs speak of an endless summer – bright hues emit a carefree energy synonymous with the beach and seaside getaways.

The collection encapsulates the timeless spirit of the south of France, emblematic of effortless style. Feature prints inspired by Dior’s latest fashion shows include Dior’s signature design, toile de Jouy, in pastel grey, blue and pink, presenting tropical undertones. These are juxtaposed against classic Nautical sailor stripes bearing the names of sunny destinations.

Pieces from the Dior Around the World capsule feature camouflage and motifs by the Roman artist Pietro Ruffo, friend and frequent collaborator of Maria Grazia Chiuri. His multifaceted talent spans watercolour, sculpture and drawing which brings an artistic dimension to the House’s designs.

In this collection, Ruffo links earth and sky in a world map reinterpretation of Monsieur Dior’s lucky star. The star, which the founding courturier credited for prompting him to launch his House, adorns the new versions of the Dior Book Tote, Saddle and Diorcamp bags.

Other statement pieces from the collection include bathing suits, pareos, jewellery, espadrilles and other accessories – alongside items from the Dior Maison collection including cushions, place mats and even a deckchair.
