WITH NATURE a core element of the autumn-winter 2022 collection, Alexander McQueen’s latest campaign strips away all the decorations and makes the clothes our main focus. Enlisting close-collaborator of the British fashion House, Paolo Roversi, the photographer captures the strength of each of the individuals along with the classic plays on silhouettes and injections of tailored extravagance giving the images an unexpected aura of sensualness.
Stark contrasts and heavy editing align our focus on the craftsmanship of each piece playing with hints of a water motif as the dark floor swallows the models feet and the lighting makes each persona look like a mystical warrior.
