BERNADETTE, the Antwerp-based label founded by mother and daughter Bernadette and Charlotte de Geyter, has established itself through a whimsical and romantic approach to occasion dressing. Known for painterly florals, generous silhouettes and a soft sensibility, the house builds on last year’s first runway presentations with The Hostess for Autumn/ Winter 2026, a short film created with Belgian directing duo Studio Alfons Meyer.

BERNADETTE AW26
Here, the film unfolds inside a home and follows a group of women in the run-up to hosting a chic gathering, presenting the Bernadette woman not as a single muse but as a collective presence, reflecting the brand’s mother-daughter origins and its naturally intergenerational point of view.
Its references range from Hitchcock’s Rear Window to the domesticity of David Lynch, alongside the composed authority of Martha Stewart and the photography of Tina Barney. The result? Well, it’s intimate and highlights the relationships between women.
The AW26 line offers dressing gowns, as well as graphic knitwear, structured cocktail dresses and sweeping evening silhouettes, emphasising proportion and materiality, which the brand is famous for. Each part of the collection refers to a room – take the kitchen, and the making of preserves nods to interpretations of gingham and fine berry embroideries.

The rose garden produced expansive florals, and the grand living room offers large prints, including Foxglove and Delphinium. The collection concludes in the boudoir and references the beginnings of BERNADETTE, where the label first became known for vintage-inspired lingerie dresses scattered with sweet hand-drawn roses.
A considered continuation of one of the pillars of the house’s foundation, the idea of women dressing for their own lives as much as for an occasion, the film and the collection offer a natural extension of what we already know and love about the brand.
