Glass are thrilled to be premièring the beguiling new video for Memory Man, the debut offering from New York based one-man-project, BL_NK SP_C_S, a kind of mash-up between Bowie’s The Man Who Fell to Earth and Maya Deren’s avant-garde film classic Meshes Of The Afternoon short. The album of the same name, coming out on June 2nd through You Records, is an often soaring, electronic pop masterwerk that utilises deft krautrock and western soundtrack skills whilst never shying away from a main-vein commercial hook.
Memory Man is the first album release from East London’s rookie You Records, which has so far seen single releases from Rose Elinor Dougall and Girl Friend, in as much proving it to be the capital’s breakout label for forward thinking music.
