Whenever someone talks about Créme de la Mer, it’s our policy at Glass to sit up and take notice. So on Thursday, February 13, you’ll find us hotfooting it down to Harrods where the brand’s ambassador Diane Inverarity will be hosting an event as part of the store’s Skinnovation Series.
For a fee in the region of £30 (which is redeemable against product afterwards) attendees can attend events by selected luxury skincare brands and receive a valuable one-to-one consultation with an expert in the bargain.
HarrodsThe Skinnovation Series will be taking place throughout the course of a month, with other events including:
Harvard-trained plastic surgeon Dr Gregory Bays-Brown for RéVive on February 5;
Caroline Negre for YSL on February 6;
Caroline Negre for YSL on February 6;
Julia Cox for Clinique on February 10;
Sisley Expert Lesley Clough on February 12;
and Gerwyn Powell for Kiehl’s on February 18.
Considering our skin is in need of some serious MOT as the seasons are about to change, it’s an invaluable opportunity to get your face in front of a professional skincare specialist for about a fifth of the price of a regular consultation (The Créme de la Mer event is free of charge).
We’ll be stocking up on Créme de la Mer’s The Eye Balm Intense (one of our favourite CDLM products by far) after the brand’s event. We hope to see you fellow beauty boffins there.
