Dior Joaillerie releases new collection campaign starring Cara Delevingne

CREATIVE director of Dior jewellery, officially known as Dior Joaillerie, Victoire de Castellane has presented a new addition to the iconic Rose des Vents collection. The new mini collection, Rose Céleste, pays homage to Christian Dior’s notable superstition and fascination with divination art by reinterpreting Dior’s lucky star.

The main feature of the Rose des Vents collection is undoubtedly the wind-rose in the form of an eight-sided star studded on precious stones of various colours. Now, in addition to the original collection, Rose Céleste presents a double-sided medallion, with an image of a mother-of-pearl moon on an onyx sky on the one side, and a golden sun layered on a mother-of-pearl sky on the other. The new design is featured on bracelets, as well as rings and earrings.

With the release of Rose Céleste, Dior has asked supermodel and the long-term muse of the house Cara Delevingne to star in the advertisement film and photos. The model was announced as the new face of Dior Joaillerie in October this year, having previously been the face of Dior’s skincare line, Capture Youth.

“Cara Delevingne incarnates the spirit of the emblematic Rose des Vents and Oui collections by Victoire de Castellane and gives them her own spin, with her signature mix of irreverence and humour,” comments the House of Dior on its choice of Delevingne.
