Dior reflects on the brand’s first RTW collection, Miss Dior in AW25 campaign

THE DIOR autumn-winter 2025 ready-to-wear campaign shot by Sarah Jones recalls the birth of the first Miss Dior ready-to-wear collection dreamt up by then artistic director Marc Bohan and Philippe Guibourgé.

Thought of as a fabulous revolution, the 1967 RTW collection sits at the crux of inspiration for Maria Grazia Chiuri’s AW25 RTW collection.

A reflection of the past, Chiuri brings the youthfulness and creativity embedded in the collection to the modern-day woman.

Bringing together the past, present and future, the campaign portrays timelessness and possibility. As Chiuri brings a sense of functionality to the meticulous nature of couture, the imagery pays respect to the innovation intrinsic to the sixties.

Leopard print marks a notable theme in the collection, with co-ords and trenches adorned with the bold print. A ‘Miss Dior’ logo is printed in large letters as if graffitied, marking beige coats, jackets and skirts while embellishing pumps and this season’s new handbag.

Finalising the looks in the campaign are accessories such as the Lady Dior and the Dior Groove, featuring a reinterpretation of the Graphic Cannage, which presents an alluring exchange between perspective and texture.

Lastly, felt hats provide a retro flair, and the VeryDior M1I provides variety with its capacity to be worn as a headband and sunglasses.
