Dr. Barbara Sturm Ceramide Drops Face Oil
Dr. Barbara Sturm says, “I created Ceramide Drops as a multi-tasking skincare booster to help restore your skin’s natural barrier function for a healthier, radiant complexion. Add a drop to enrich your favourite face cream or apply directly onto the skin whenever your complexion is dry, sensitive or just needs some extra TLC.”
Skin can often feel stressed, dry or irritated due to environmental factors, lifestyle changes, or the effects of ageing – and this can compromise the skin’s protective barrier and overall resilience, so Sturm came up with a solution.
This new oil is absorbing, anti-ageing, and is infused with a Ceramide Complex that can be used alone, or dropped into your usual moisturiser to strengthen and restore skin barrier function for a healthy complexion.

When it comes to the ingredients, its a potent mix of a 5-Ceramide Complex from oat oil to strengthen and revitalise the skin barrier, as well as a blend of argan, evening primrose, sweet almond, macadamia, grape seed, and jojoba oils to deeply hydrate and restores the lipid barrier.
Astaxanthin, an antioxidant, improves skin appearance and soothes discomfort, while phytosqualane softens, smooths, and reduces fine lines. Purslane extract, known for its anti-aging properties, enhances firmness, elasticity, and the skin’s natural antioxidant defence.
How to use
Add a few drops to your favourite Dr. Barbara Sturm moisturiser, serum or mask, or apply directly onto the skin after your face cream to boost skin barrier strength, improve hydration and promote elasticity. Ideal especially during winter, in drier climates, or when skin is stressed or sensitive.
