Duck & Dry Arrives at The Whiteley

DUCK & DRY is expanding west with the opening of a new salon at The Whiteley in Bayswater, joining the growing mix of fashion, beauty and wellness names inside the restored landmark development.

Founded in 2014, the London hair brand has built a following for its polished blow dries, updos and event-ready styling, with salons across the capital, and alongside styling services, Duck & Dry spaces often incorporate retail, drinks and event programming, positioning the brand within a wider lifestyle landscape.

The new opening marks the brand’s latest move as it enters its second decade. Set within The Whiteley, the salon pairs clean interiors with the building’s restored architectural details, including high ceilings and lots of natural light. Founder and CEO Yulia Rorstrom describes the opening as “a new era” for the business, bringing the Duck & Dry concept to one of west London’s most closely watched developments.

Those who book can expect the brand’s established menu of blow dries and updos, alongside treatment-led finishing services intended to add shine and longevity. The interiors don a softer Notting Hill sensibility, balancing a contemporary finish with a relaxed atmosphere. Occupying an entire block on Queensway, The Whiteley development includes residences, retail, hospitality and London’s first Six Senses hotel, alongside tenants including Third Space, Everyman and Nela.
