Fendi celebrates the 25th Anniversary of the Baguette bag with a luminescent Christmas tree

FIRST featured on Sex and the City, the beloved Baguette bag became the it accessory back in the 90s. Since then, it has become a true cultural phenomenon and a trademark of the house of Fendi. To pay tribute to the iconic purse this year, the Italian Maison created a metal Christmas tree made of luminescent wasabi-green coloured Baguette bags.

The Christmas Tree at Palazzo Fendi Roma

Nodding to the colour scheme of the Baguette 25th Anniversary-Winter Capsule 2022 Collection, as the sun goes down, the tree outside the Palazzo Fendi store in Rome will gradually change from red to pink to wasabi green. London’s New Bond Street storefront and windows, as well as the Paris Avenue Montaigne boutique, will both be bathed in a wasabi-green hue that will furnish a “whimsical allure” to the stores.

Keeping it sustainable, Fendi follows new measures to reduce power wastage. Using energy-efficient and energy-saving RGB LED lights bar, the windows and inside the stores, along with the lighting of façades and trees, will be turned off after 10.00 pm. In addition to that, the lighting of the facades and trees will gradually diminish following the natural ambient light, yet still capturing the same decorative effect.

Don’t pass up the chance to see this iconic Christmas tree!
