Givenchy debuts new iterations of the 4G and Cut-Out bags

MATTHEW M Williams continues to make his mark on Givenchy with eye-popping new iterations of the French House’s signature 4G and Cut-Out bags.

Givenchy 4G bag

The 4G bag, a tribute to founder Hubert de Givenchy’s love of symmetry, this season comes in two captivating new styles — the multifunctional mini-Vertical crossbody bag, and a new version of the medium chain shoulder bag, complete with spacious gussets for storing day-to-day essentials.

The statement designs join an existing 4G family of crossbody and chain bags in rich hues of forest-green and chestnut as well as subtle accent tones of lilac and ivory, while new finishings range from padded leather — achieved through high-frequency wave techniques and electro-welding — in either matte black, patent leather or leather and canvas, to a debossed 4G monogram on patent leather, silver embossed leather, shiny python, or suede with a shearling flap round out.

Givenchy Cut-Out bag

As for the ultra-sleek Cut-Out bag, first unveiled on the brand’s AW21 runway, it has undergone an architectural makeover, with its distinctive bow shape made even more angular using an intricate process of high-frequency wave techniques on supple padded lambskin.

Inspired by vintage car seats, the curvaceous Cut-Out bag features Williams’ emblematic G-Cube chain in a glittering silver-finish, while a longer, cross-body G-Cube chain is also available for the first time as an add-on, enhancing the versatility of the lust-worthy style.

Available in mini and small sizes in padded matte black lambskin and patent lilac leather, or a smooth box leather with a subtle glossy sheen, in black and chestnut, the new Cut-Out bags, as well as the new 4G bag designs, are now available online and in Givenchy stores worldwide — brand fans and fashion fanatics alike won’t want to miss out.
