On Thursday night at Boujis nightclub in South Kensington, along with Geoff Leong, Glass raised a frosted, and much deserved, glass of the smoothest vodka to celebrate the launch of the ART14 artfair. The swank, award-winning venue is renowned for entertaining the toast of the world’s elite, from British royalty to pop aristocracy and beyond, naturally with the chicest discretion.

The smooth hedonistic environment was made available to Glass Magazine, very courteously may I add, thanks to Romain Ribera, who called the suavest of shots in order for us to have a jubilant celebratory bash, in recognition of the compelling proceedings at ART14. In the neon-daubed haze of Boujis, we spoke to many ART14 eminences, eager to collectively pat themselves on the back for a sterling showcase, hosted at London’s Olympia Grand, showcasing over 700 artists this year and attracting in excess of 30,000 visitors the world over.

Riding on the sensation which saw hordes of collectors, curators, buyers and art lovers visit the showcase this week, to view work from 180 galleries from over 40 countries, we didn’t want to press the night’s attendees for too long. However, as we coddled our sips of ice-capped Snow Queen Vodka, and enjoyed food from Hi Sushi, the coterie was spurred to dance and rollick the rest of the night away.
