Glass enjoys a unique dining experience with the Fitzrovia Collective, London

WHY enjoy the work of one celebrated chef when you can try that of three? A forthcoming series of special dinners allows you to do just that, bringing together the complementary skills of three of London’s leading lights under the banner of the Fitzrovia Collective.

The union sees Jun Tanaka (The Ninth), Ben Tish (Salt Yard) and Allan Pickett (Piquet) combine their experience over a six-course menu and three evenings set in each of the chef’s establishments across Fitzrovia – an area that, thanks to an array of striking new openings, has become one of the capital’s dining hotspots.

A special preview dinner at Piquet gave a glimpse of what to expect: a refined take on Mediterranean and French cuisine that allows each of the chef’s signature styles to come to the fore. From Tish’s Dorset snail and pancetta pinchos daubed with vivid wild-garlic aioli to Pickett’s roasted seabass and smooth mushroom persillade and Tanaka’s masterful tarte tatin with rosemary ice cream, it’s a journey characterised by high-end ingredient selection including Salt Yard charcuterie and foraged vegetables from Kent.

With the resulting menu adding up to far more than the sum of its parts, visitors can expect the Fitzrovia Collective meals to form a fitting showcase to the neighbourhood’s new-found culinary flair.
